Unhappy The Citizen watch's production mumber

Anybody who can tell me how many digits of Citizen watch's production mumber. Someone told me there was six digits of Citizen watch's production mumber before this year(2010),e.g. 960224. But my new watch (BM6400-00E) has nine digits of Citizen watch's production mumber,e.g.061020224. I don't know whether the Citizen watch's production mumber had upgraded it's digits from six to nine?
Anybody who tell me the truth?
I'm afraid that I bought a flase Citizen watch.
