Good review Gabe..I sure love those style bracelets, but the watchadoo has only straight ends..these are gonna be great alternatives.

Outstanding review...
As for the bracelet, looks good...but dunno??? If harold made solid endlinks for the super oyster's, why didn't he just do the same for the anvil's??? Or when you say endlinks are probably a drop-in, are you also saying the solid endlinks harold has for his super oyster's might fit??? If so, thenfor the solid endlink anvil's, otherwise IMO with this style of bracelet, the watchadoo still reigns.
Great review, very informative.... looks like an exellent product from Harold.

I'd like it if it were the longer link version instead of the lumpy one.. I never found the lumpy one very comfortable.
Interesting...thanks for the info! And that bracelet looks pretty good on your 007.
I am curious as to why he only has 20mm in straight, and 22mm in curved, and why he uses hollow/folded end links for the curved ones? I would have preferred solid ones, but at least it looks like these folded ones might be a little stronger than "normal" ones. What types of cases would the two different curved sizes fit?

This looks like a great addition to Harold's arsenal of products...
Gabe, I know you compared the weight between the Anvil and the super oyster. I never held a super oyster... how's the weight compared to a same size watchadoo?
I do have 20mm & 22mm Straight-ended Anvils together with 22mm with end caps made for SKX007 series and the 6309 cushions:

This is a question only harold can answer, but my guess is that it is probably a lesson learned. I've spoken to watch designers at length about this, and the consensus is that while solid bracelets are nice, they have to be perfectly machined in order to be fitted. even a small discrepancy will cause them to not fit right. an open bracelet has considerably more room for error and allows you to adjust it as needed. If fitted properly the resulting fit is nice and tight and the user cannot tell one way or the other that the end link is hollow or solid. I suspect this was a consideration for Harold since he is offering various different endlinks and cost control is also an issue.
I was referring to the curved endlinks from the anvil being able to be used on the watchadoo, not to the super oyster solid endlinks being usable on this design. Look at the Anvil and the solid super oyster endlinks, the mounting points are completely different.
It's not a competition
This looks nice. I have been considering an alternative to the stock jubilee on the 007. Although it is very comfortable and it is nice to have something other than an oyster, it feels a little light weight for the watch. The watchadoo is a good alternative, except for the fit to the case. Now it looks like Harold has a reasonable alternative. I think I will be considering this, once more details come out.
I have a few questions...
Is the term anvil an extisting name or something new?
Is it appropriate to display Seiko branded items that are not made by Seiko? I'm refering specifically to the clasp. I personally don't have a problem with it, but spending enough time around WUS I know there are plenty of people who get hell bent out of shape over the whole homage/replica issue. Clasps should be no different than the watch itself.
