I don't really anticipate dropping any brands. We're usually pretty careful in how we select the brands we carry. Above all we look for consistent quality, but we also look at demand for the brand and market saturation. Sometimes though we like to take a chance on a small diamond-in-the-rough brand that we think will grow over time. Sometimes we're wrong and sometimes we're right.

When a brand doesn't perform as expected, we generally won't drop it unless the problem is quality, which can give us a black eye. We may dedicate less resources to the brand, but we'll usually keep it around. You never know when they might pull a hot new release out of nowhere.

One thing I would like to see though, is for us to be able to offer more discontinued styles at clearance prices. Every year, watch brands discontinue a number of models. When they do this, they often dump their remaining inventory on the gray market at firesale prices. We'd like a crack at helping them to liquidate this on our specials page.
