Btw Jason, I am a bit confused after reading the email from Peter to Bhanu. Are we talking about the same watch? Peter mentioned Laco is going to produce Baumuster A with 2801. Is it related to this thread? Thanks

    Hi Hary,

Your guess is as good as mine. Not even sure if Laco is willing to make a Type A dial for us crazy lot.

    Hi Paulo,

The numbers beside our names are not the numbers we are getting. We have a few hurdles before we can tackle the production and the choices for our LE #. I would believe existing WUS LE owners would like to get the same number for their Type A too. I wouldn't want #1/50 for example, this has to be Bhanu's. The numbers beside are just merely numerical numbering for ease of counting (you know maths 101 isn't my forte).

    Here's the list :

    1) hwilsdorf (Jason)
    2) Mescalito (Florian)
    3) ht8306 (Henry)
    4) Nalu
    5) Mario Escobar
    6) Fabiog
    7) Hary
    8) hotnerd
    9) TIMEangel
    10) ParkinNJ
    11) yenfoolun
    12) bigflax925
    13) chronozen
    14) city-dweller
    15) brainless
    16)
    17) Paulo

17-1= 16 so interested parties so far! Cheers mates!

    Jason

This is the proposed ETA 2801 movement by Laco (picture given by Laco). It is very well finished but I would prefer a solid case back.

    Specification

Mechanical with manual winding, power reserve 42 hours
Functions : hours, minutes, sweep seconds
    Diameter : 25.6mm (11 1/2")
    Height : 3.35mm
    Jewels : 17
    Frequency : 28,800 vph
    Fine adjustment system : ETACHRON
Related caliber : 2804-2 (w/ date window and quickset)

Hope this gives us a better understanding of the movement.

    Jason

Do you mean to suggest that those who were unfortunate enough to miss Type B won't get Type A either?
Simply just because thay have NO Type A number...

I think it means that the B owners will get the same number and the rest of us will share the numbers left....
    One life, one chance.
