Exactly!!! The W=mpe is a good moderen example of a well supported historical pattern. Nice.

I love the crown on the original B-Uhr. Baby Onion on a short tube. Is there any way we can come very close to that original design? Thanks JohnF for pointing out the issues with this design, but I was wondering also what might be the "group think" on this item? A correct crown seem to me of utmost importance; it can be a visually important link to the past. Picture below...thanks Janne.
Hi Forum,
Been reading about the project for the last weeks and have finally given in to the temptation. This is going to be a great watch. Now the proud future owner of #24.
If at all possible, would vote for the broader, sword-like minute hand as on the Wempe. But happy whatever anyway.
Many :thanks to you all.
I agree with BRUCE.
Cheers,

Hi,
i want remember for my posting number 190. I think the last pictures shows the outer white circle very well and we should discuss it if we add this to the wish list or not.
Next problem: It`s possible to split the order of the watch and the price in watches with chemically blued hands and watches with black hands? I also prefer natural (chemically) blued hands.

I hope someone in our group of future Laco Sonderanfertigung Uhr owners can help to do this, so that there is no confusion with us and Laco on what we want.
I have decided to not comment on the crown until we have another proposal from Laco. For sure, I would like something close to original but flush to the case. No extended stem tube.
This project is by now very promising, I am so happy I am part of it. Not that I could have avoided, having been nagging to Laco about this configuration for some time

I have tried to detect the outer white circle, but I can only see an optical illusion from the edge of the crystal. I might be wrong, I have not taken the watch apart!
Re; Split order: Makes it complicated and less atractive (business wise) to Laco. I think you can order blued hands separately, and have them retrofitted. That is anyway what I will try!
If Laco are unwilling to supply the "blued", I will be happy with "black".
Re white line, please check posts 213 and 214, I think they explained it!

I agree with Janne on hands. In order to make it easier for Laco the already set specification with black hands should apply. Unless Laco tells us other options are available...
I may be interested in retrofit of properly blued hands, but then again, my lovely Laco special edition WUS No. 03 is likely to be kept as received from Laco. It will be used, though!

I came across this picture on the net of what appears to be a B type with the glass removed. There is a clear white outer circle here. Can this help?![]()
Lencoth! Superb detective work! Now we know!
But frankly speaking, I prefer the dial without the white line! Makes it more clean... With the line (on the Original) it looks like it is the crystal, which I thought was the case all the time!
Again, thanks for the clarification! Janne
