Up for sale is a fairly *rare* Seiko diver model # SKX399. If you’re interested in some background for this particular model: The little known Seiko 7s26-0020 200m diver
I am not the original owner of this watch as I bought it from another WUS forum member about 3 months ago. Here was the original listing. FS: Seiko SKX399
I’ve had several divers recently come into my collection resulting in almost no wrist time for this Seiko. If I’m not going to wear it, I figure I'll sell it so someone else can wear it and enjoy it. I’m asking $260 (I pay fees and shipping). USA bidders only please.
It comes on the original bracelet, sized for a 6.5 inch wrist (of course, all the spare links that I received when I bought the watch is included). Also included is a mint condition Pepsi bezel that will fit on the SKX399. So if you want to change the look, you can just swap out bezel and you practically have a new watch. No box or papers with this one.
Condition wise, there are scratches on the clasp of the metal bracelet, which can be expected, and can be seen in the following pics. There are also some scratches and swirls on the case back as well. Hairline scratches on the case. The bezel and the crystal are still in perfect condition.
It was raining today, so I had to take the pics indoors without direct sunlight, so please forgive the quality of the pics. I’ll gladly send additional pics/close ups at any angle for you to make up your own mind about the watch's condition, just ask.
The movement runs great. I’ve been monitoring the watch’s performance over the last two days with time.gov and it’s currently running +4 secs a day.
I take payment via paypal and ship the next business day after receiving payment to verified address only (I’m verified as well). No trades, and USA buyers only please. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, I am more than willing to meet you in person to deliver the watch.
While I’m new here, I’ve already closed a few transactions on the sales corner.
