I have a nice vntage man's, manual wind Jules Jurgensen wrist watch in excellent condition. A nice, round, solid 14K gold model. I picked this up from a family member (great uncle) who's kids most likely would have sold it for Scrap (Greedy) which would have been a shame considering how mint it is.
The original finish dial is silver satin with gold-tone markers and is in excellent condition. Dial is marked "Jules Jurgensen/Estd 1740/Swiss Made".
Jules Jurgensen signed case is yellow 14K solid gold. Back has some dents and looks like it has had engraving polished off at some time. Top is in excellent condition. This is a remove through the crystal type case. Case measures 37 MM lug tip to lug tip and 33 MM across (not including crown). Crystal is in great condition, has a Jules Jurgensen logo crown and a new generic, black leather strap.
Movement is Swiss made, Revue caliber 84, marked Jules Jurgensen with 17 jewels. Movement is rectangular shaped. Just cleaned, oiled and adjusted and runs great.
Just had it detailed, serviced and it is made ready to wear. Probably from the 1950's The problem is I got the Diver bug and either need to trade or sell this.
I just discovered this forum but have had successful transactions elsewhere and can provide additional information where needed...I work in a professional field (not that it matters) but just for your comfort level. Email mslucas@ entrecs com take out the space :)
I have seen similar sell anywhere from 400-500 but I am interested in the low end or an interesting trade for a military watch i.e. Marathon, O&W, h3 or a nice Diver.
