    I have an un-used,mint, Off the shelf in the box, 100%

    Marathon Tritium field watch,

    Here is a description from Marathon.


    WATCH. MECHANICAL MILITARY WRISTWATCH. This watch is manufactured by MARATHON WATCH COMPANY. Wristwatch is manufactured in accordance with MIL-PRF-46374G, Type II, Class 4, this watch has 17-jewel mechanical movement. The stem-winding mechanism has a minimum 36-hour running time and is accurate to a minimum of 30 seconds a day. Stem for winding and setting time is located at the 3 o'clock position; movement stops when the stem is pulled out. This watch features a high impact fibreshell with a waterproof and dustproof case. Black military face features both 12 and 24 hour timing with white numerals and a sweep second hand. Luminous hands and hour markings are powered by tritium tubes. This Swiss made watch comes with black nylon mil-spec strap with buckle closure that adjusts to most wrist sizes. The strap is manufactured in accordance with MIL-S-46383B, Type II.

    Black face features both 12- and 24-hour dials, with luminous hands and hour markings, white numerals and a sweep second hand. Luminous Features are indicated by self lighting tritium tubes.
    This watch is made in accordance with MIL-PRF-46374G Type II, Class 4
    This watch comes with black nylon mil-spec strap with buckle closure that adjusts to most wrist sizes. This strap is manufactured in accordance with MIL-S-46383B, Type II.
    Note: This watch is available only to Government and approved Departments and Ministries.

    How old is it, is the back dated?

    Ahhhh Yes the back of the watch says mechanical, When i cut and pasted the info off Marathon site i must have cut the wrong paragraph

    This watch was shipped to me less than 4 weeks ago, From Marathon

    I heard about this forum from another forum i belong to. I was needing to get rid of this watch for another watch, so i thought i would pass the deal along. Its a really nice watch, considering you can't just purchase this watch mint off the shelf. i though someone here would enjoy it.
