Every once in a while you come across a truly one-of-a-kind watch and this vintage Longines Olympian certainly fits that bill.

The Dawson Award is given by the New York Yankees annually to the rookie of the year. In 1967 the recipient of that award was Bill Robinson. The backcase of this Longines is engraved reflecting that event.

The original silvered shows no patina and only a few very light age spots that would speak to its age. Solid stainless steel case no major dings or gouges.

Caseback shows the engraving.

Case measures 28mm by 28mm.

Here's a shot on my 7.5 inch wrist to give an idea as to size.

Comes complete with its original beads-of-rice bracelet.

Manual wind movement recently serviced. Running strong and accurately.

Very cool piece of baseball and Yankee memorabilia.

One-of-a-kind watch, $295 shipped anywhere in the USA via Insured USPS First Class Mail.
