My Fortis Limited Edition B-47 is in very good condition. Its operating as expected with very little wear. Even though its spec'd at 47mm it wears more like a 44mm watch IMO. The striking blue globe in the middle surrounded by a sea of white is really beautiful. The watch has a display back showing the decorated movement. The world bezel is bi-directional and the watch comes on a double signed double deployant. The blue rubber strap is cut to about 7.5". There are no boxes or papers but obviously, this is guaranteed authentic and original. The original retail on this watch is around $4500.

Additional specs and descriptions below.

As it is immediately clear from its name, new Fortis B-47 World Timer GMT timepiece is a chunky traveler's piece with all the required and desired functions for a product of its kind. It is the latest of the limited editions of special timekeepers that the Swiss watchmaker is launching to celebrate the century in the industry. The timepiece premieres the new F-022 self-winding mechanical caliber that enables its wearer to tell the time in three different time zones. Other traits that can be noticed at the first glance are the large size, a rotational bezel with city names which is, just like its turning central dial that represents the Earth, used to display the time in different locations.

It is fair to say that the most interesting aspect of the timekeeper by Fortis is its ability to tell the actual time in three time zones at the same time. The first time zone is naturally displayed in the simplest way, with the use of central hands. On the other hand, the next one is portrayed with the use of a blue rotating disc that represents our planet and depicts the continents in it. The map of the world in the central section of the dial includes a red line that depicts the time in the Greenwich time zone. As the blue disc rotates in a clock-wise direction (in the same way that our planet moves) this red lines circles across the 24-hour display and serves as the hand that shows the time at the zero meridian. The easily notable inscriptions with the names of 24 major world cities on the bezel of the Fortis timekeeper give away the way in which the watch shows the third time zone. It is immediately visible with the adjustment of the rotational bezel to the "home" time zone.
As it was mentioned, the technical capabilities of the watch are based on the fact that it is the first Fortis model with an automatic F-2022 mechanical movement. The Swiss made caliber with the width of 11 ½ lignes has 21 jewels incorporated in its mechanism and runs on the high frequency of 4 Hz. In order to improve the functionality, durability and precision of its watch, Fortis has equipped the movement with a fine timing device function (the regulator on the movement's escapement that adjusts the frequency of the caliber which improves accuracy) and Incabloc shock absorber (which obviously reduces the stress to the mechanism and improves its resilience.
