Timex Perpetual Calendar T2G521
My very first catch-n-release...a Timex perpetual calendar watch (new-in-box) for $70 PayPal.
I purchased this last week for $100. I removed it from the display stand to try on once, but since that time, it's been on the display stand unworn. I just can't seem to connect with it. I figured I'd try to sell to a fellow WUS member for less before returning it to the retailer. I'll keep it up here for about a week or so, then if nobody's interested, I'll return it.

It's a perpetual calendar model programmed through the year 2100. I did notice one minor annoyance. The date doesn't display exactly in the center of the date window. It's off by a little bit. It may correct itself - but I'm not sure. It's enough to bother me, but not for others possibly.

The nice little surprise is the hour and minute hands are "windowed" so that when it sweeps past the day window, it still allows for the day to be visible. It's a nice little design touch. There's also some nice detail features around the body. Additionally, the lugs and crown guards are smoothly integrated to the case - very cool. The dial face is has nice details with the chapter ring, red and silver accents, luminous hands and of course, Indiglo. This one has the "sustained on" feature...meaning, a single quick press will turn on the Indiglo for about 3 seconds. You don't have to press and hold.

The specs are as follows:
- 40mm case diameter (43mm with crown)
- 46mm approx. lug-to-lug
- 11mm thick
- 20mm lug/band width
So again...contact me if you're interested. The $70 PayPal includes shipping within CONUS. Outside of CONUS, additional fees and/or charges will apply that buyer will be responsible for.
If I don't get any takers in the next week or so, I'll just return it.
Thanks,
Dan
Re: Timex Perpetual Calendar T2G521
Just an update...
I've sent it to Timex Service Center for them to realign the date. Once I get it back from Timex, I'll repost here to see if anybody is still interested in it.
Thanks,
Dan
Re: Timex Perpetual Calendar T2G521
Hey WUS shoppers...
The watch is now back from the Timex service center. They fixed the date wheel misalignment. It's all good now.
The price is lowered to $60 PayPal including shipping to CONUS. Extra shipping, fees, duties etc. may be applicable to those outside of CONUS. The watch also comes with a free battery replacement offer from Timex as well.
I'd prefer to sell it here to a fellow WUS'er before putting it up on the bay.
Take a look at these newer pics:

Re: Timex Perpetual Calendar T2G521
I'm going to stick with the WUS sales forum. No more ebay fees for me, thank you.
So, it's still for sale and I'll keep it here for now...and I'll bump the price down to $50 shipped in US.
Dan
