The time has come to let my Glycine Airman go.
Manufactured in the 2nd quarter of 1967. These watches were popular throughout Vietnam and often sold on base and were also popular with pilots. These feature a unique hacking mechanism that actually triggers a tiny hair-thin wire to poke up through the dial at 12:00. Thereby stopping the seconds hand at exactly 12:00. Unlike many of these on ebay etc, the hacking mechanism on this one is fully functioning.

The second crown is to lock the bezel in place, thereby allowing you to track two time zones.

It was serviced before i bought it a little under 2 years ago, i don;t know when, but it's working well now and keeping good time.

After $1300 USD. Head only. Can probably work out a deal to include a strap if you're interested.
