Explorer 2 on leather strap...

Hi all, bought my 1st Rolex in 2002 so reckoned it was possibly time to join a Forum...Some great input, knowledge & pics. on display here, feel like I should be cleaning/polishing/buffing my watch, before being entitled to participate!! And as per usual the newbie starts with a question. I have been browsing for almost 2 hours now & for some reason many pictures are refusing to display. I am toying with the idea of a tan leather strap or black leather strap for my EXP. 2 White face. If anyone would have a relevant picture would be greatly appreciated...

Good luck with this search! I've been stalking forums (mostly TRF) for three months and have seen many, many Explorer II shots, and, except for the rare Explorer II on a nato or jubilee/super jubilee, I haven't seen other, more "creative", options....

Anyway, congrats on joining the forum. You will learn a LOT. I surely have.

MMmmm...was afraid of getting such an email
Maybe will have to purchase some cheap straps in order to contrast / compare before going after a proper one.

Ok have read numerous posts on this & decided to go out & get a basic strap to have a look. If it grows on me will invest in a nice strap, if not, nothing lost. So what do you guys think, and before I offend the purists it's only a tria, original pics. at bottom...
