Beautiful and Tastefully Color Coordinated ... I Love the Tudors
Glad you liked it. The best response I have seen so far was:
"The Black and red with the curve of that thing, it just screams whatever pop culture vampire is rampant these days. It's just awful. I'm going to drive a wooden stake through it's heart and hose it down with some holy water infused with garlic and see if I can kill the foul beast and return it to the depths of wherever it came from!"

This is a beauty. First time I've seen it posted on a forum. Is that the original strap that came with the watch? I thought it came on a Nato.
It is the original strap. The red Fastrider comes with the Nato and this leather strap.
The black and the white dial Fastriders come with a Nato and Steinless Steel bracelets.
For some reason no SS bracelet option available for the red dial model, only the Nato and the leather.
Hi, Wessa:
That quote couldn't very well have come from a Ducati owner, ha ha.
Anyway, I was bitten by the Fastrider bug too, as I am a Ducati owner, as well as one who has fancied the idea of one day getting a very high quality replacement for my beloved old Seiko 7002 150m Scuba Diver. My Seiko refuses to die, even after wearing it without any service for about 20 years now, but no problem there, as I can still wear it at work. On the other hand, my Ducati is yellow, so, much as I loved that look, I didn't really think that red would be the ideal color for my new Fastrider. Since my Seiko has a black face, I decided on the silver or white faced one, just for a change. I also decided on that one cos' it was the only NIB one up for bid on eBay and I managed to win it for about a 36% discount to the North American suggested retail price. It's a grey market item here in the USA as Rolex quit officially importing Tudor some years ago, though I hear they will probably start re-introducing the brand here this summer. Anyway, it ought to be a pretty unique item for my first few years of ownership.
Now here's the ironic part. The whole reason I even discovered this watch in the first place is that I had too much spare time on my hands, while sitting on a drilling rig location in the desert of Kuwait, surfing the internet (10 years ago, I was on a drilling rig location just on the north edge of the Taklamakan Desert, but no internet there, so I was safe back then). Anyway, I pulled the trigger on my eBay bid, won the dang thing, and then I had to pay $50.00 for insured 2 day FedX to ship it to my house. Unfortunately for me, I won't get home to see it for another 3 weeks! Now, as you might guess, that's really killing me!!!!!
And now my better half wants me to sell the Ocean7 G-1 GMT Pepsi bezel dive watch I just bought last week & I haven't got to see that yet either!!!!
Soooo, alas, pictures of the silver Fastrider won't be forthcoming for a while. (are you all feeling my pain yet?) (I know, I was warned the forum was dangerous)
Cheers,
Matt
