Congrats on your TSAR! I also worried it might be too small before getting mine. Now I agree the size is perfect. Smallish, low-key and unobtrusive but at the same time highly legible at a glance. Quartz grab n go ease & accuracy, and the tritium is the icing on the cake. I don't have the bracelet but have heard good things about it. I don't think you can go wrong either way, yours looks great.

Been lurking for ages finally after an eternity of debating about my 6.5" wrist I've bought a Tsar (my first watch since 1990- didn't wear one since then). Topspec had a 15% sale and I held my breath and ordered. I'm quite smitten?

I don't know why we do these things...buy a watch...sell the watch...miss the watch and buy the same watch again. It's a sickness.

Was my 2001 GSAR. Loved the simplicity of the dot indicator dial:

    It's what we do.

Slight correction to the above. That is the original SAR, predecessor to the GSAR. It was first issued in 2001 and I believe ran its course by 2006.

The GSAR version has the same automatic movement with the notable difference of tritium tubes at the hour markers and on the hour and minute hands (note that the more recent issue of the GSAR has a trit tube on the second hand as well).

That's really nice, I had a TSAR long ago, a bit large for my slender wrist so I sold it. Last year I purchased a used but mint 'medium TSAR', it's just right for me.

TSAR that I just received this week. I really like it so far and the rubber is nice but thinking about a brown leather option. Trying out a leather lined nylon in red but not sure I can pull it off. If I could find something similar in black it might work. A leather strap would have to fairly thick I think.
