The antecedent of 'yours' is not clear. But Marrick's has shock absorbing. Thus I would assume it was post 1950.

You´re right, maybe it wasn´t clear enough. So I looked twice and found that both of the Mauthe watches in this thread are from the 1950s. And both of them have a shock protection, the Contrachoc respectively the Super-Contrachoc, both inhouse productions of Mauthe.
jedanzoom´s watch contains a Mauthe 610 with Contrachoc, so that should be the older one. Marrick´s one contains a Mauthe 612 with Super-Contrachoc(jewel on top in a chaton).
