Casio "F-Shock" I call it the "F-Shock" because it is not quite as rugged as a G-Shock. ;)
They look pretty good to me, except for the lack of a countdown timer.
Anyone got one? What do you think?

Ah! Here's a ghetto version of the G-Shock 6900, complete with countdown timer!
(I feel so fancy when I include inline links!) :D

Yep, I bought this watch (F-108) about a year ago. I use it everyday as my work watch. Love it! Very basic and functional with an easy to read display. Looks a lot like the G-Shock DW-5600 but is much thinner making it a easy with long sleeve shirts. Best $18 I ever spent.
I may be mistaken but aren't there identical waveceptors? I owned one and it was unwearable, but it would always synch.Originally Posted by Smaug

I know the 5600 series has wave-ceptors. I don't think these are.
Sometimes. The thing is, it has a tiny movement with a huge spacer, so there is only room for a tiny battery. I barely get 1 year out of a battery, and I'm awfully tired of changing it. So it just sits dead, most of the time.Btw, do you ever get to wear your Mondaine?
