    Casio 643 A300U "World Time"

    I just bought this a few days ago from a charity shop. Was surprised to see how good condition it was in considering its age. Had no idea if it worked or not until I received the new battery. I love anything with details on the screen like the map. There don't seem to be many of these around and those that I could find pictures of were all in a much worse state. The main body seems to be a problem with these as is simply a chrome covered plastic. Luckily this one is very nice. I've had it on for a few days now and its so light I don't notice it.

    Great find and nice watch. I also love watches where the time zone is shown visually. There are some modern Casio's with that feature such as the AE1000WD:

    Please reply !!!!!

    Hello from N. Texas !!!

    I have almost the same watch, but mine is the model 643, with the W-520U time module. Mine has a black plastic band.

    However, the bad thing is it has now quit; a complete blank screen. I had a new battery put in and it still does not work.

    I do extensive world wide travel and love the feature of selecting your destination city and seeing what the local itme is so I can plan my sleep cycles.

    Does any reader know of a reputable watch repair shop that works on these computer/digital casio watches ????;

    I would like very, very much to have mine repaired. Please reply on this forum or by a P.M. !!!
