Regarding straps, I wear mine on a NATO, just because I think they're more comfortable than metal or rubber, and they're easily changed for a different look. I'm rotating black, bond and olive drab and looking for a safety orange one.
Some photos of my SKX007J on a black leather strap:

It is a Morellato strap. It is reasonably priced (under 30 Euros) and, as I was told, quite durable. The fact that it is a leather strap somehow works against the concept of a diving watch, but I don't really care :)
CONGRATULATIONS! Well done my friend! The review + pics is perfect for anyone who wants an overall basic synopsis of the 007. WELL DONE!

Can anyone here attest to the durability of the Jubilee bracelet, perhaps with an example or story of something it "survived?" I'm looking for my next Seiko diver and this one has caught my eye, however I'm a fairly active individual and my watches go where I go... My personal point of reference is my Monster on the Monster bracelet, if you care to make a comparison.

I got mine on a Z22, (I'd previously had an SKX031 with a folded-link oyster, and was extremely disappointed-I actually bent the endlinks!), then put it on a Super Oyster.
I haven't checked the accuracy properly, but it's certainly within Seiko's specs (I got +17s, but it wasn't fully wound at the time). It's a very well put together watch, which I still spend far too long admiring.
Definitely a keeper.

'I never done it'
When I got mine (SKX007J) it was off by -4 sec/day. After a few days it was -7 sec/day and after one month it finally settled down to a consistent (approximately) -17 sec/day during daily wear and -14 when stored top-down. A few days ago I bought a case opener and regulated it. First few attempts were quite discouraging: +53, -27, +20 (calculated from approx. 3-4h interval measurements). After that I got lucky and now the watch seem to be very accurate: loosing only 2 or 3 s/day.
Since I am perfectly satisfied with the result I lack the motivation to measure its accuracy in different positions.
Although I have never owned one, two of my neighbors have, for at least 2-3 years each. They and I were all aware that we all love Seiko watches, and from time to time, we'd all take off our watches, and basically talk about Seiko watches, as well as other brands. I had always been wearing the Knights/Monsters, and always knew, as well as insisted, that the bracelet construction on the Knights/Monsters was WAY better than that of the Jubilee. YET, I kid you not, 3 years have passed for Chen's Jubilee, and over two for Alan's Jubilee, and they have both held up against my Seikos. Alan and Chen, without fail, wear their watches 24/7. One works for the City, and the other in construction. So what can we infer from this? The Jubilee has its strongpoints/weakpoints.
