I'm really interested with the SNZF17. But on the same time I found that SNZG39 also tempting. Can anyone give me clues or comparation between these two awesome day beater. Thanks.

Just scooped one of these up in Shinjuku. Its a sexy beast, great for playing in the water and fine for recreational diving as deep as 160 feet. I got this to use at work until my dw-6300 gets back from a refurb of sorts.

I wish they made this a regular ISO DIVER instead of a "5" series. But hey, you can't beat the value and the price of this little gem. I saw the pepsi bezeled one at my AD and I might just pull the trigger within the week.

I can't see the pics anymore? I just bought one of these, shipping to me now. Has anyone found this movement to be accurate? What kind of +/- are you guys getting?

Re: Seiko SNZF17 "5-Sports" Mini Review

I just bought one of these off of E-Pay as well, a SNZF17K1 from the Singapore seller. With shipping I'm into it for about $135USD. My Tudor Submariner is at the shop for repairs. They want $600 to fix the stem, replace the bezel and "overhaul" it whatever that means. So I could buy nearly 4 of these Siekos for less than the cost to repair my Tudor. Plus, if you slam it on something or scratch it, oh well, no biggy.
This watch isn't made in Japan unless its got the J suffix am I right? So, where is the K suffix version built?
Thanks for the review. looking forward to getting mine. I've always like Seiko watches and this one will be no exception. H.
