    skx007k2 vs snzf17k1 (sea urchin)

Looking at buying one of the above watches. Want an everyday, good to great quality watch. Don't want something 38-40mm, looking for something bigger but not too big (perhaps in the 40-43mm range)
Bracelet quality and design are important. Not sure of the price difference either. Any recommendations?

Have you seen the Eco-Drive Duo on eBay right now. It is a rare one and within the size that you are looking for.

    Search for Item number 270536808927

    Hope this helps!

Nice watch. Sort of like the color contrast of the two Seikos.

I have the sea urchin (wearing it right now!) and I love it. It's gorgeous, tough, keeps excellent time, and the see-thru caseback is awesome and even wows some non WIS'!!

I have the Seaurchin in PVD (SNZF21K1), wearing it now and it is magnific. I'm completely all right with Stiggy Palgrave. Each time that I see the steel color one (SNZF17) I love it. Maybe I will buy it too.

SKX007 is a heavy model, bigger and higher. A real Divers watch. A good model, but vintage aspect. I have a Monster instead, and for my need of a vintage, I have just bought a Turtle from 70s to restorate. I will publish pictures to present it in society.

Good luck with your decission, ...

If you want a real divers, make it 007 with all the features like screw down crown and 200m. SNZ is not a real diver but I really love the Sumo hands style of the SNZ.

About size. What are the actual sizes of the two watches. Info varies. Also, someone mentioned height, is there a significant difference. I won't be diving but love the look. Wrist is 6.75". Need some advice. Thanks

It might be worth noting that there is a midsized version of the SNZF17K1, which is the SNZF29K1. The SNZF29K1 has a diameter of about 38mm, and the SNZF171K1 has a diameter of about 40mm.

I have a 6.75" wrist as well, and I sold my SNZF29K1 because I felt it was a bit too small, and I purchased a SNZF17K1 as a replacement, which ironically seems a bit too big.

I think the reason why the SNZF29K1 feels small is that it has a very thick rotating bezel ring, and so the actual glass watch face is small in comparison. It's all a question of proportions.
