    Citizen AT1091-54F Review

I have wanted a citizen AT1091-54F, sometimes AT1091-71E. For a while now, once costing 199 pounds [around $327 US] now 80 pounds, i knew i had to get one.
With great build quality and finish all round, its hard to fault the watch, but here are my thoughts.
Case is well made and measures 44mm with crown, and about 11mm thick.
Strap is also very well made, although the links are folded metal, they are well done and done in a way you cant tell unless given close examination, there not hollow links but of multiple folded stainless steel. Clasp is really well made and is of the twin push button release type. The strap holds the watch in place really well and is very comfy. Strap measures 24mm tapering to 18mm.
Dial looks to be well made, and i love the design. Only problem is the numbers are not lumed, speaking of lume, its very good and a nice blue colour. Another thing i found is the large chronograph seconds register hand, does not quite line up with the marks sometimes, when reset at 12 its dead on. All other hands are ok.
The h570 movement works well, accuracy is very good, gaining 1 second in 2 weeks.
Crystal is hardened mineral, and is slightly domed, its raised very slightly above the fixed bezel, so i would of like to of seen a sapphire crystal.

Wrist shots to be posted tomorrow. But i feel this is one of those watches that has to been seen in real life, as i have not seen a pic that does it any justice.

Really nice model. We don't get this specific model from Citizen in the US.

Interesting to note, this caliber only has a 30 minute chronograph and it is deemed to be more precise than a 60 minute one.

Nice choice. Look forward to your wrist shots.

The 3 o'clock sub-dial shows you the time in 24-hours. Meaning that while the large hands show the main time in 12-hour format, the sub-dial shows it to you via 24-hour format.

And the 24 hour dial can not be set to a different time zone as it is tied directly to the main hour hands.

I bought a variation (AT1095-53E) on eBay. Nice watch, but it didn't really do anything for me. Flipped this one rather quickly.
