Is there a sapphire glass available for the BN, OEM or aftermarket? There's got to be an OEM sapphire that would fit. There must be other Citizen watch with sapphire that shares the case with this watch. Sapphire would make this watch just about perfect.

The BN0000 has become my favorite quartz diver and one of my favorites overall. It's just a great watch!

I just bought a LNIB one a week ago off one of the sales boards at a very nice price, and I am truly impressed with the watch after wearing it 24/7 over the Memorial Day w/e... it is exactly what I was looking for, a grab-n-go watch that was not too large (I prefer ~40mm), with a good water rating for heavy pool action and rugged diver styling...

I immediately changed out the stock strap for a NOS Big Hole Tropic strap I'd been saving for the right occasion (the strap cost me about the same as the watch )... anyway, I think it looks great and I've found my new summer daily wearer now all my other watches are starting to feel neglected...

    thanks for a great thread!!

    cheers,
    Peter

and one more cool pic seeing some pool time :)

Here's mine on a Nato Bond strap, though I might switch back to the rubber for more pool duty.

Does anyone know if the bezel is removable?

What brand of strap is that? Looks good. I've also always thought it was a shame that Citizen doesn't offer this one with Super Oyster style bracelet.

These are great looking watches, although I don't have one. My oldest ecodrive watch is 10 years old and going strong, gotta be the way to go.
