I have been eyeing these Orient "classic automatic" models for a month now. Well written review and a gorgeous watch. Looks to be the perfect size
I was about to order this exact same model until I read a post here about the newest EL models that came out Nov 08. So I ordered the WZ0081EL yesterday. I'm typically a "sporty/diver" type of watch wearer so it will be interesting how I like this piece.
A question for you...would you happen to know the differences between your model and the white EL (besides the HW and HH new movement)?
Thanks for sharing your review!

AFAIK the differences are the movement and your has a satin dial instead of the textured dial. Case and bracelet look to be the same. When you get yours, please share a review with us as I don't think I have seen anything about these models yet.
I struggled for a long time deciding on this one. I quickly ruled against the EL models because I'm on a budget. But even within the FD models there are combinations of index markers or numbers with either the patterened dial or the satin dial with different dial colors and then some even have a bracelet or a strap. Its enough to make your head spin.
There are a ton of variants indeed! I will post a review of the EL. Really looking forward to it!

Thanks for the new pics, it's a gorgeous watch! I can't wait to order the new black dial model (with hack and winding).
Nice new shots nohJ. A gorgeous piece ... thanks for sharing![]()

I've been wanting the Seiko SARB033 but this one looks much higher end for not much more money. I've got some thinking to do.
