    Date wheel ideas

I have talked about some vintage date wheel looks that MkII might consider in the future.

-Roulette (every other number alternates between red and black)
    -Open number fonts
    -Silver (rather than white)

Silver date wheels were common on earlier models and are highly sought.

These are different SeaDweller models, but you can clearly see that the older 1665 on the right has a silver wheel when you compare it to the white one on the left.

This is a shot of my sub, showing a silver date wheel and an open 6...

Roulette date wheel... (even numbers usually red)

That is interesting. I didn't know some of the Rolex stuff had silver date wheels.

The Roulette wheel is definitely something I am interested in doing.

    Silver is intriguing :D

I'd be down for the roulette on a black wheel.

I worked with a guy over in HK that is doing a roulette wheel for a Snowflake homage. I think it would be great! Seikos that have the day function usually make Sunday red. I always like to see it pop up on that day. Just adds something a little different.

Bill, if you even decide to do the Pus Galore GMT, my vote is on having a roulette!!

How about a roulette wheel on a GMT-Master homage like the one shown above? Your part way there with the Kingston case and crystal and dial!

Just print a different dial without the name, smaller crown and a different bezel and we've got another homage!

Very nice, I had read before that you had sent it to him, was this another set of restorative work or same as before? Is he expensive? Does he have a website? I've been trying to find a good watch repair person.

That is one great watch you have there. How long have you owned it?
