    Kingston on straps

So I picked up this bad habit when I bought my first Panerai. Anyway, I wanted to see which straps looked good on the Kingston, and they pretty much all do.

Thanks for posting the photos. I have found that although the Kingston feels good on a NATO, because it's a fairly thick watch, and the NATO has two layers underneath the watch, it makes the watch sit a little too high on the wrist. This watch definitely wears bigger than its 39.20mm. I haven't yet found a leather strap for the Kingston that looks and fits right on my 6.5" wrist, and I haven't had the bracelet sized, despite a couple of unsuccessful attempts. I will probably have to take it to a jeweler for that. How many links did you have to remove to fit yours?

I've had a few Sinn's, so I'm used to watches that ride high.

I had a jeweler take off 3 links, and then decided to take another off myself. It was a bear. Doc Venture didn't have a problem with it, but he's got super-science and Brock to help him out.

You're right in that they all look good on it but my preference is for the two leather straps and the bracelet. IMO, the Kingston is far less of a tool watch than other MKII offerings and it begs for more formality.

Try searching this string on ebay: "Hirsch Medici" and see the listing that comes up. These straps, with their curved ends and form-fitting design have been a favorite of mine on both my Tudor Sub and the Kingston.

I just got a Hirsch Mobile Leonardo but am waiting for an Axel Jost DF2 deployant for it. I hope it fits my Milsub.

I found an online strapmaker with a superb leather nato for 20mm once. I will need to find the link again. It was a Panerai quality piece from vintage ammo bag leather and was approximately $200 if memory serves.
