Perfect pair - nice to see the two side by side. They are the polar opposite setups that were available: date/no date, BGW9/C3, Gilt/White lettering, Strap/Bracelet, red pip/silver pip, hash marks from 12-3/no hash marks. A really great photo, thanks for posting.

Thanks Charlie! I figured one has the more vintage Connery look and the other is a bit more modern looking.

What kind of strap is on the gilt dial one?

Di-Modell Racing strap in black Leather with double pronged buckle.

The bracelet on the Matte-dialed one is not the Kingston Riveted bracelet if you look closely. It is a Hadley Roma solid link bracelet with screw links and the original Kingston solid end pieces. The bracelet has a Sub-Style clasp with safety latch and it tapers down to 16mm just like the Kingston bracelet. I like it more on that model because it is thicker, doesn't have the rivets and compliments the look of that Kingston (IMHO) more than the original one.

Sweet looking pair! I'm getting a hybrid of yours, Gilt BG-W9 with silver pip bezel. Soon enough I expect.
