Need rubber strap suggestions for a LRRP Milsub

My Milsub came on a Nato, but I would really like a thick, rubber dive strap that will tame its size and weight on my smallish wrist. I have an Isofrane for my Sea Fighter and it is a great strap, but the style just doesn't look right on the Milsub. The stock MKII rubber strap is nice, but a little on the thin side.

Does anyone have any suggestion for a beefy, rubber strap that is as thick as an Isofrane, but is solid rubber and more of a conventional style? The Rubber B straps look nice, but won't work with the MKII screw bars.

How about this ChronoWorld.com - Online Watch Retailer - ChronoWorld.com - watch straps Fine Watches

I'm pretty sure this is the strap on my Seafighter that came with it!

The one AR15fan suggests is a great strap (I wear my SKX007 on the same strap), but I think it is the one that the LRRP also comes with.

I would suggest the strap that comes with the Marathon CSAR. The Marathon branded straps sell for $50-60, but you can get them for half that with a sterile buckle.

The Watch Prince usually carries them, but they are out of stock right now.

See here: * Italian Rubber Watch Band | 22mm Black | Bonetto Cinturini Model 317

They are made by the same company that makes the MKII rubber strap - Bonetto Cinturini. It is a nice, thick pure rubber (not silicone) strap.

**EDIT** I just checked and it looks like Panatime has that strap in stock: http://www.panatime.com/22mainitnbrr.html

You can't go wrong with a Bonetto Cinturini, IMO

Thanks for all the info. The Bonetto Cinturini 317 is a solid choice and I have looked at it. My favorite in the current lineup in the model 324 (new) with a carbon fiber pattern on a thick rubber strap, but I can't find anyone who has it in stock. The older style ribbed 22mm MKII strap is what I really want, but they are hard to find. I didn't realize until recently the older CSAR's used the same strap.

    Keep the ideas coming.

I can't speak for the fit on your MilSub but a lot of guys swear by the Sinn rubber strap with the deployment clasp. It may by worth a look.

In case your schedule clears up, there should be a few at the Atl GTG that you can see in person.

The Sinn looks like it would work well, but it is pricey and I gather it can be difficult to get one with a sterile clasp.

It also has the Sinn logotype embossed on the strap. I have one on my Sinn 757 UTC. Good rubber strap with deployant though.

The double-ridged solid rubber strap with curved ends and deployant buckle Omega supplies is one of the better ones I have found but I can't find it in 22mm; only in 18mm and 20mm. Neither can I find the supplier that makes them for Omega.

I hope to find if this will fit my incoming MKII MilSub: Hirsch Leonardo Curved End "New" Mobile. It's made of waterproof leather with a rubber underlisting and has a 100m waterproof rating. Leonardo Curved End Series - Mobile

If it fits I'll spring for a brushed Axel Jost DF2 Premium deployant buckle for it.

There are several people on ebay and elsewhere selling the classic 22mm "Tropic" basketweave bands in rubber - not silicone. If you can find one of those they look fantastic with that watch, as they complete the vintage look and feel. The Hirsch Leonardo "New Mobile" that Marchone posted is also really nice and comfortable: I wear one on my 60's Tudor Sub on occasion and really like the wrist profile those curved ends give the watch at 20mm: would assume the impact is even more dramatic at 22mm.

and lots of other vintage stuff.
