New MKII Sea Fighter question.....HELP with spring bars!!

Just picked up a BRAND NEW Sea fighter in the Seller's forum, and I LOVE IT. Absolutely beautiful. I see this one sticking around.
Real quick question. How do you removed the spring bars? I love the rubber strap, but I'm wanting zulus for the summer. I got the small screw off only to find the main bar difficult to remove, and I didn't go further, as I don't want to damage this beauty. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!!

That doesn't sound like you have a Mk II Stingray. We never used screw pins on the Stingray. Does it have our logo on it?

You should be able to just push it out. Its not threaded into the case or anything. If you need more help please use our Customer Service portal.

I just use the small screw to push the bar out on the other side. It should push out the main bar enough so that you can pull the rest of it out with your fingers.

Exactly... wooden toothpick does the trick. Doesn't damage the threads either.

It's been awhile since I've had my Sea Fighter, but I remember when I first got it. The lug holes on the BC straps that Bill uses for the Sea Fighter are too small for the screwbars, so it's a REALLY tight fit. I ended up squirting a little dish soap where the screwbars go into the strap, then I grabbed the screwbar end with some needle nose pliers wrapped in a paper towel to pull them out.

Awesome, thanks guys! Finally got them out, and wore a nice, cool OD Maratac 22mm mil-spec to the water park yesterday. Love this watch!!
