Original MKII Kingston NATO strap

Hi!

I've just bought a MKII Kingston incl. the plank over kit. And in order to compleate my kit, I'm searching for one original MKII Kingston NATO strap. I can not get any from MKII as they had ran out of stock. I know that there are a lot of NATO straps on the market in general. But what I seach for is the very correct MKII Kingston NATO strap, that was made for exact that watch.

Does anybody know if someone want to part with there original MKII Kingston NATO strap? Or does someone know who made the Kingston NATO strap for MKII?

The strap that came with the Kingston as an option was actually an RAF style strap just to be clear. It is only made up of a single strip of material without the metal hardware of a NATO and has a cloth keeper instead.
Are you looking for the the most screen accurate "Bond" strap or just the strap that MKII sold. They are different in color. The one MKII shipped has a different coloring then what Bond wore in the movie.

I have a handful of different RAF Bond straps in my collection, one of which is the MKII suppied one (note, MKII didnt make it but rather sourced it. You might be able to do a search in the old Kingston build threads to find out the makers). I might be willing to sell but will have to sleep on it.

First of all thank you very much for you reply! Also thank you for correcting me with ref. to the Bond "RAF" strap.

What I'm actually searching for is the RAF Bond strap that MKII did supply for the Kingston as an option.

I'm very glad that you want to give it a chance and sleep on it. I want you to know that I will of course pay what you ask.

Please let me know what you say, when you have made up your mind.

Not strictly true, Bill said he preferred my strap (and its the one featured on the Kingston webpage) however, what was supplied was from another supplier, my current strap, or most recent version (20mm only) is this one:

The one Bill went with was a black, gold and red version instead of the black, olive, and maroon which is more screen accurate.

The Phoenix NATO is also rather nice on the kingston

For reference Phoenix Straps Ltd. in Wales was the original supplier of the Bond movie style strap as well as the MOD straps of that period. Corvus distributes them.
