sorry again. My home/office computer is on the fritz. The small problem I thought I fixed last week wasn't fixed. The office computers (knock on wood) are working fine. The computer that I use at home on the days that I have marked out for checking in on the forum had me chasing my tail for the last 10 days. Finally I bit the bullet and called HP's tech support......2.5 hours later(half of which was spent under my desk replacing and removing RAM cards) "we" finally figured out that one of the RAM cards was bad and part of the motherboard is bad. I have no idea how normal people would troubleshoot a HP computer since the tech support guy claimed that their onsite technicians can't diagnose problems only fix the identified ones.
Anywhooo computer is down and going back to HP some time next week. In the mean time I am back at the office finishing the other work that I didn't get to at home. I will be back online Thursday since I won't have to guess if the computer will work.
