Watch GTG with some MKII content

A fellow watch enthousiast and I live in the same town and we're having a mini GTG every now and then, sharing and admiring newly acquired watches. Like we did yesterday evening. My watch friend brought his camera (mine is in Switzerland, witht the rest of the family skiing) and he took some pics. A few of his watches, a few of my wife's watches and mine, including two MKIIs: LRRP and Kingston.

Out of that group, that Kingston is immediately eye-catching.
    Thanks for sharing!

Life is short. How sad to have realized in your death bed that you've worn a crappy watch as a "daily beater" for most of your days.

No, my mate Tom isn't into classic cars. Must say that there are weeks that I don't mention classic cars at all to people. It was all about watches, watches and watches. Often, my wife chips in with her comment - she's fond of watches too, but last Friday, she wasn't at home. Must say that my friend knows a lot about watches. He's a watch wiki so to speak. That makes things more interesting!

On one of the pics shown is a Longines Legend Diver. On purpose, I may add. Looking at that watch in the real, I found out that it looks far better than on pictures. And I've mentioned it before, I really think that a next MKII model should be a compressor case-style diver: the Longines or even the famous Aquatimer. The shape of the compressor case is really something different.

That will change if you can only find a way to wear them on your wrist!
