In other words, the dimension of the Kingston is:
PERFECTmm x PERFECTmm x PERFECTmm
IMHO,
Johnny
Life is short. How sad to have realized in your death bed that you've worn a crappy watch as a "daily beater" for most of your days.
Perfect, of course, is very subjective. The Kingston is appropriately sized as an updated homage and wears well. Although, with a 14.50mm height, it is a little thicker than my "perfect" watch.
Aye. Rather than starting a new thread, will revive this.
Will be picking up a few MKII's. The Kingston being one of them.
Read the review and saw the pics, however, not seeing the watch in person, can't size it up properly.
I currently kick a 42mm Omega PO and a Steinhart 42m Ocean 1.
I've seen some say the Kingston wear's bigger than its size (39.20mm). Would someone with a caliper be able to throw out a full measure bezel to bezel or comparison pics to another 42mm?
Thanks.

Here's a scan of my Kingston MkII next to my Watchco Omega Seamaster 300, which "technically" measures 41.5mm across. Notice how the Kingston just "looks" bigger. I can assure you that it "wears" bigger too - I think the lug-to-lug dimension is larger on the Kingston; also, I believe the dial itself is bigger:
Try as I might, now that I've worn the Kingston since ~June, I JUST can't go back to the Seamaster, which USED to be my favorite watch! Now it just seems "too small" on me. I was visiting my good friend yesterday who I sold my Rolex "Maxi Dial" 5513 Submariner to - I asked him to take it off and let me put it on my wrist for old times' sake - it was downright TINY on my wrist! Shoot - if I put a vintage Rolex 6538 on now, it would prolly look like a KID's watch on me!
