300 Pro Dial is Too Small?

Well, I liked the idea of the 300 50th, but I think the face is just too small for my 8 3/4" wrist. I am considering selling it and getting a 1200T or maybe a 6000T. I know the total diameter is about the same - but I think the larger dial will suit me better. Could anyone with both the 5oth and one of the others please post a quick side by side photo to help me compare? Thanks

You're correct, it is a smaller dial, especially around the edge with that "magnifier". Visual references have changed over the years. When the Doxa dive watch first came out, it was considered a huge diver only watch.

imho, a larger Doxa case size would look better on your size of wrist. The 300 and 1200 about the same size. But the dial size visually on the 1200 is excellent.

I agree, I could see how you feel the 50th is small on your wrist. I suspect you'd be far happier with a larger Doxa.

SUB 300 Professional is my first ever Doxa, heck it is the first Doxa I have seen ever... and I have yet to find the dial small.

I merely think it is a classic, and that is what it is.

Having said that I do understand the concern beyond certain wrist size.

Great the picture really helps! I will put the 300 up for sale - as soon as I get enough posts under my belt! Then I'll likely get that 1200.

    Best,
It is a beautiful watch, just a little small when I compare to my couple of other pieces on my wrist!

Yes I found the 300 and 1200T were too small for me...so I bought the 1500T (45mm case) in 2 colors...Orange and the blue (project aware).
