How long have you kept it on the winder and at what rate (TPD; turns per day)? I've been doing some research on winders and heard of some movements being damaged by constant over winding if the rate is set too high. From what I've read if the barrel is not properly lubricated the mainspring can suffer from the torque. Maybe someone else here with more knowledge can chime in and offer some perspective on that possiblility.

I have 8 watches spinning 24/7 on winders and have been fortunate to not have had a problem. My winders are set on 650 turns per day in a unidirectional pattern. I wind everything from Rolex, Omega and Sinn to my Doxa. I'm sorry your 5000T is that slow. My 1200T is amazing as it runs less than 1 sec off in 24 hrs. Cheers, Bill P.

It depends. If you bought it first hand and it's still under warranty I would suggest calling up DOXA and having them see what they can do. If not, I would still at least give DOXA a call and see what they can do for you. If not, there are plenty of other companies around that can probably help regulate it.

WOW!!!! took watch to area well known rolex watchmaster. he said the watch is running over 60 sec. per day slow. not a regulation problem but parts problem. amazing as it has never seen water, spent first year mostly on quality watch winder. purchased 2/4/11. waiting to hear how to get it back to doxa??
