    Changing of the guard

Been wearing the Rolly GMT since I got it, but this morning thought I'd go for something different. Opened up the watch box and the old girl just called my name. Almost 40 years old and can still give the youngsters a run for their money.

Need to redo the bezel numbers and give her a touch up but she still looks good as she is.

That's a beauty! I've never seen a pro with an orange hand before!

Thanks Romeo. She started life as a Searambler. The dial was trashed so I had it redone to a Pro and liked the orange hand so didn't paint it black. I first saw an orange hand pro when I was compiling the book and ended up using the photo in the book.

I would have never noticed it ! But now that I know there is such an orange hand out there, I might need to look for it. Thanks !
PS: if you know where I can find one, let me know

That's it for me. The 300t with the Aqualung logo is the one. Orange hand really is the way to go. Wish I had thought of that!! Cheers!

    Welcome to the Doxa Forum!

As you may already know, most vintage 300T's with the USD logo had black hands. As the good Dr. pointed out, his started life as a Searambler (silver dial). Still, no reason you couldn't have one made up to your liking. With a vintage perhaps needing restoration, anything is possible!.

    Here's my redialed 300T....

    Regards, T Bone.

Pete you're right again!! The old ladies are still impressing! When I'll get home, I'm still skiing up North, I think I'll switch for a while from my Rolex Exploreer 1655 that I have on me to my beloved triple logos 300t Synchron-USDivers Pro. She's a beauty isn't it?
