You need both The small book is only available with the SUB 300. What you have is the Preview version of which there are only 7, if I remember right. So you have something that very few others have.

Nice. So is this book a "true" update of the 40th book or does the 40th book still contain information not included in this new one?

The 2 books stand alone. Most of the info in one is not in the other. Yes the 50th will have some info that is in the 40th. Impossible not to do that but it is very little. There really was so much more information available during the last 10 years, plus a bunch of new watches. If you want the complete history you really need both books. Anyone who has the 40th will not be upset if they get the 50th. It isn't a case of reprinting the 40th with some more pictures. The 50th is a completely different book.

Hi Dr Pete - please can you tell me if it is still possible to obtain the 40th book, as well as the new 50th? And, if so, how?

    many thanks
