    Hey Tetia,

I don't have both, but to me, the larger case sizes are nicely large but by no means big. Depending on who you talk to, I have heard that the smaller case sizes are anywhere from too small to just right . But I've never heard them described as big.

So by extension, if you like a large watch then the 1000/1200 may be smaller than you like.

However, I will say that, while I was a big watch guy for a long time, I found myself getting very comfortable with smaller watches like the Sea Dweller. It's just a matter of what you are accustomed to so don't completely reject the smaller Doxas.

If you are looking for a larger Doxa then you are correct in that the 750T is a popular model. The 1500T is another great choice. Both do come up for sale from time to time on the sales forum. In fact, I have seen both models in the last week or so. You may also want to put a WTB (Want to buy) post tin the WTB forum.

As far as pictures go, there are lots of comparison shots here on the forum just use the search function. Dr. Pete Millar's site also has side by side pics that can be used as references.

    Good luck.

I can't speak to size for you, but for my 7 1/2" wrist the 1200T is perfect! Just be sure to get an orange dial one! Cheers, Bill P.

    Tetia,
Heres a shot of my 750GMT on my 7.25" wrist. I don't have a 1200T to compare because they are just a bit too small for me. However, I have seen a lot of guys pull off a 1200T just fine with the same or larger wrists. Like the guys said above, it's all a matter of personal perspective. I have mostly larger diameter watches in my collection also, so when I go to put on one of the smaller pieces it takes a couple of hours to make the transition (and even then sometimes I never fully get used to one of my classics). Doxa Subs stylistically have that vintage look to every element of their design...vintage usually means a small dial. So for maximum authenticity, the 1200T might be your ticket. The other consideration is the particular dial color you choose. For example a 1200T Searambler will look much larger because the s/s case matches the silver dial. (at least that's what I'm trying to talk myself into believing because I can't find a minty enough Searambler)
Anyway.....hope that helps a little... good luck! ツ

Re: HELP TO CHOOSE WHAT DOXA TO BUY

I have owned quite a few Doxas, but sadly I never made myself to take shots of multiple of them all together. Though based on information you provided, I personally think that 1200T will be too small for you.

I have 6.5-6.75" wrist, though it is flat. This helps minimizing the issue of watch lugs hanging off my wrist. I find the 750T (both non-GMT and GMT) size to be just perfect for me. 5000T or 1500T works great, but it is a bruiser, YMMV The biggest of them all, T-Graph, I still find it to be wearable for me.

If I am you, I would wait for a preloved one (750T) to surface at the Sale Corner. By the way, the 800Ti should work great too as it has very similar profile as 750T (might be a tad larger, but much lighter due to Titanium). And this one you can grab it from Doxa as it is still available.

Here are some of my Doxas. I don't own all of these anymore except one. Some of them, I even have had owned two. Doxa got me really bad at one point. .

The 300T RI shot was from my buddy wrist as I gave it to him as a wedding present. Anyhow, good luck hunting.
