    Interested in a 1500t Searambler. What's your experiences/opinions/photos?

    Hey guys
I've grown to admire, and potentially desire, the 1500 Searambler. I can't find much on it though, and the doxa website is not exactly picture heavy.
I have a 7" wrist. Is it likely to be too big? It speaks of a 45mm case, but more like a 43. The L2L is 48mm (i think) which gives me hope though.
How is it to own/wear? How is the bracelet? Is the lume strong and long lasting?
Does anyone have any wrist shots from a decent distance away?
Thanks for your time and help!

I just got a 1500 Project aware last month.

Own/wear: it's a really great watch. Heavy, but you get used to it. I believe the case shape makes it wear smaller than it actually is. No complaints.

Bracelet: I never thought I'd find a watch bracelet on par with my Navitimer. This one comes very close. The micro adjust in the clasp works brilliantly.

    I've got a 7 inch wrist. Here's a picture:

Any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

The lume is ok. I certainly wouldn't call it torch like.

Bezel movement is the best I've ever felt. Solid clicks. No rattle or extra play.

I only own one Doxa, a 1500T Professional. I have a 7" wrist as well, and after 20 years of wearing my SKX 173 Seiko, the 45mm Size feels natural to me.
Love the watch, and it is really the perfect combination of traditional style with a modern enfluenance. You will be very happy with it!

Whether or not the size is suitable for you depends on what you're used to. My wrist is 7.75" and I consider the 1500T to be the high end of my comfort zone. The L2L is fairly manageable, but it's still a big, chunky watch. I've owned a 1500T Searambler, but sold it when I acquired a 1500T Professional. The Searambler is more versatile, but I consider the Professional to be quintessential Doxa.
