    Joining the Doxa family

Well I'm joining the Doxa family and want to say hi here!

Thought it would be best to start of with the legendary 300T
Don't know if that's right but a start anyway.

    Cheers

    Re: Joining the Doxa family

    Thanks!
I appreciate it very much. Needed a cool diver and what's cooler than a Seamaster yes a 300T sharkhunter
Acctuly I thought about what diver to collect and this was the first that come up in my mind. That said I have to many Omegas already and Doxa has a realy nice history which I appreciate. The only downside is to get this baby waterproof before my Greece trip which I bought this watch for.

    Cheers

    Peter,

Welcome to the club. You really have jumped into the deep end of the pool by going with a vintage 300T as your first Doxa. I think it says a lot about the brand that you would take such a leap. You've got a sweet looking watch there. I hope that it meets all of your expectations. I'm sure that it will.

BTW, on what strap are you planning to wear it? If you haven't made a choice yet, I'd like to recommend the Isofrane. It's a perfect complement to just about any diver but it really goes perfectly with vintage divers from the late 1960's through the mid 1970's. If you don't yet have one, it's worth trying.

Enjoy your Sharkhunter. It's a true classic.

Rusty, pretty sure he's got it on a branded DOXA rubber strap now from the looks of it (this one), but I will second the suggestion of the Isofrane. It along with the Tropic in the past was the one you'd see a watch like the DOXA SUB on, it's a reincarnated classic (much in the same vein as the DOXA SUB Reissues) and is an ideal compliment to any DOXA (or other brand) dive watch, vintage or modern. Love mine!

Cool. I didn't know that the new OEM Doxa straps fit on the vintage subs. Thanks for the info.
