    Local find - Sharkhunter T-Graph

    Hello -

This is my first post to the Doxa forum. Sharing pictures and info about my first Doxa - a T-Graph Sharkhunter. It was a local find at an estate auction that happened around New Years. I couldn't believe it when I recognized the dial and I knew I had to be all-in to win it. The watch has certainly lived up to its high praise and am looking forward to getting it back from service.

The service will include movement COA, reluming the hand with tritium to match the dial, and bezel enamel on the outer numbers. Case will not be polished or refinished in any way. We're investigating a custom crystal since the glass is counter stepped at the edges and otherwise impossible to replace. Work is being done my Beau at LA Watchworks and he's services T-Graphs previously.

I hope you enjoy the pictures from the moment I found her and will definitely share photos when the Sharkhunter returns from service.

Nick from Watch Patina did a really nice write up on the watch a few months ago.

Doxa makes very cool watches overall but more than that it seems to me that they age extremely well under duress. I really need one..

That is a great find, I like that you are not over-restoring it. Well done, I can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks - I think my watch is next in line, so updates coming soon.

In the meantime, I found something that should pair nicely with the T Graph - a near mint Sub 300 Searambler from the original owners family. Can't wait for this one, or the T graph, or both to arrive!
