My First Doxa : a Dream came true

    Hello,
It was 20 years ago today, that Sgt.... That I have read my very First Clive Cussler Novel "Raise the Titanic" and got Infected with the Pitt virus. Since then I have read them all, some several times. The One without a Co-Author are the best: Sahara, Inca Gold, you Name it ...

And of course this special watch got a Hold on me until I found Out that Doxa Is back again. Unfortunately my Favourite flavour - the Sub 750t Pro - was phased out and gone. I Need a rather Big watch.

German Market ain't that Big and a Good Sub 750 was very Hard to find. But watchuseek turnend Out to be a Good source for a pre-owned One. Joined two weeks ago, found One and now I'm wearing my 750 Pro while I'm typing. A good Feeling!

By the Way - thanks to Clonetrooper For the Great watch and Good Support!

Does anyone know why there are two different spellings available: " SUB750T" and "SUB 750T"?

    Cheers
    Robert

    Ps. Please Pardon my english!

Welcome and congratulations on your first Doxa! I know the feeling, also being a rabid Clive Cussler/Dirk Pitt fan, of finally obtaining a genuine orange faced Doxa dive watch! I couldn't stop staring at mine when I bought the Re-issue SUB 300T in 2002! Your 750T looks amazing! I can't answer your question about the SUB750T vs SUB 750T, but I'm sure someone will. Be sure to check out Pete's website at DOXA SUB 300T

    Here's my 2002 Re-issue:

I sold it and used the money to buy a SUB 1200T DWL:

I know you'll enjoy your first Doxa very much, but be careful...then tend to mulitiply while your bank account drains! I now have a NUMA SUB 1200T and a vintage SUB 300T as well:

The 750T is a great introduction to Doxa. My 750T Pro is my absolute favorite watch. Enjoy yours.

I've never noticed the different dials. Mine does not have the space between SUB and 750T. I'd have to assume that the difference is just different batches were done differently. I doubt that it was a conscious change. Does anyone else know what the deal is with the 750T Pro dials?

Nailed it precisely Rusty. Just different batches. As DOXA is not mass marketing and selling thousands and thousands of pieces, these dials were made in smaller batches from time to time throughout the production run of the 750T. We've discussed it here before on the Forum, but it has been years. I can't even recall whether my Pro has the space or not, wearing my Sharkhunter 750T (on DOXA Bund) at the moment, and see it does not have a space.

Just checked my pics of my other SUBs, the 750T Pro has no space, 750T Milshark does have a space, as does my 750T Divinstar GMT and 1200T DWL. My vintage 300T has a space, though it is a redial, and I have no idea how accurate that aspect is to the original.
