    Newbie to this forum

there area a lot of forums to explore on WUS by the way, anyhow sure this has been asked 1,000 times, but after seeing a few DOXA pop up on the sellers board I started researching and wanted to get a quartz Aquaman and can't figure out where in the world to get one, apparently not for sale on the DOXA site and do not want to pay $30 shipping to by via Ebay to get from Europe. Any recommendations - Thanks

They show up pretty often on the WUS Sales forum. The Aquaman is a discontinued model but new ones are still available however they were never sold in the US, which I am assuming is your location. Most seem to come from Eastern Europe, specifically Romania, so you are going to have to pay something to get one shipped.

    Good luck,

Hi there. I've seen Doxa Aquaman and lots of Doxa dress watches at various jewellers in Krakow, Poland. I've visited that wonderful city twice so far this year and make a point of checking what brands of watch are available in that part of the world. Doxa do OK dress watches but I'd sooner have a "proper" Doxa diver. I've bought too many watches during the last year or so but in the next year or so I hope to stretch to a orange 1500 or 5000.

I had one for about an hour before financial constraints forced me to sell it. It really was beautiful.

Bought it here on the forum from a really nice guy from Romania. He gets a few brand new ones every once in a while. But yeah, shipping is brutal.

You are a lucky guy, my friend. Here in the States we don't get the opportunity to see many Doxas and never in a store. I've heard of guys seeing the odd Doxa SUB at a jewelers but it is rare. I like a number of the Doxa dress watches on the other Doxa site. My wife and I hope to get over to Europe in the next few year sand a Doxa dress watch will be on my shopping list.

As far as your choices for an orange SUB, I like the way you think. The 1500\5000 case, movement, and bracelet are all top shelf. The bracelet in particular is the most comfortable that I have ever owned.

To the OP, You may also want to put a WTB (Want To Buy) post in the WTB forum. You may have to bump it daily but I'm willing to bet that you can score an Aquaman that way.

Disregard, I just saw your WTB post. Keep it bumped but no more than every 12 hours, per the forum rules. I'm sure that you'll land one.

I just sold one on WUS this past weekend. Nice watches. They should have them available in the US.
