Please please DOXA... Can we have a SUB 300 Divingstar COSC..?

If DOXA produced 1000 of these, I bet they would sell out as fast as the SUB 300 Pro 50th Aqua Lung.

It could be a homage to the SUB 300T Divingstar.

I find your question/plea to Doxa to be quite reasonable. I own a 6000T and a Project Aware ll and enjoy wearing them both due to the different color dials. This said, I am not a serial collector of Doxa watches, so owning multiple orange Doxas that differ in case geometry or dial logos has no appeal to me, however , I sure as hell can appreciate the mentality of serial collection of anything. I am a serious serial collector of older S&W models 29, 27, and 25. I am well aware of the addiction. As far as Doxa watches go, it would be my assumption (assumptions being what they are) that there is probably a pretty fair size number of Doxa owners who would rather own a new yellow Doxa than another orange one. One need only read the recurring posts regarding requests for a new yellow model . I would buy one in a heart beat. I have no idea what Doxa's business model to withhold a yellow dial model could be, but I am sure that the supreme beings at Doxa deem it to be valid or we would see some yellow model offerings. I am not married to the idea that my first yellow diver just has to be a Doxa, but I am getting a bit tired of waiting for one to appear. I am starting to look at a couple of brands that have yellow models that I feel are right in line with Doxa's quality and pricing, but I sure as hell would rather have a yellow Doxa on my wrist.
    End of rant.

There is an annual contest at Indiana University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.
This year’s term was “Political Correctness.” (2010)
    The winner wrote:
“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

There was no SUB 300 Divingstar, so it stands to reason that they won't do a 50th Anniversary reissue of a model that never existed.

Yes it never existed, however the 300T did. And it would be a good thing to reissue it.

Right about the 300, but I would like to see a 1200T Divingstar.

I entirely agree with your very well made points! Thank you...

I should have posted this as a poll - it would have been good to get some numbers. (Maybe someone would like to start one) I really believe that a new Divingstar would be snapped up in a heartbeat - by many WUS members and others.

DOXA must know this, I'm sure. A new Divingstar wouldn't make any of their other watches less desirable.

The SUB 300 Pro 50th Aqua Lung (or Black Lung) was sold out within 2 days, to individuals invited by DOXA to apply. Most of us who were lucky enough to buy it already have one or more orange DOXAs. I'm very lucky to have orange, silver and turquoise and can't see myself parting with them. And while DOXA orange is fantastic, a little lemon goes well with orange!

As Cuthbert pointed out, I had in mind the SUB 300T Divingstar. It must be close to an important anniversary, for a reissue...

Picture below is borrowed from Dr Pete's doxa300t.com site (he, in turn, had borrowed the watch from some friends). I only use this picture as an illustration - mods, please remove it if I'm breaking any rules in posting it (never my intention!)
