    Service Help Please

I have a seven year old Doxa (the Sahara LE) that I bought pre-owned. The screw-in crown sometime's screws in and sometimes not. Otherwise it is still running fine, but I guess it is probably due/overdue a service. I am in the UK so can anyone please advise me where I could or should send it for a service and repair? Thanks. Here it is by the way.

I have that same model. It's the pride of my collection. The issue that you describe with the crown is fairly common. Depending on how often and how carefully the crown has been screwwed down, the threads on the tube tend to wear out. Repairing it is not a big deal. I would suggest sending it to Doxa for repair.

    Best of luck.

Thanks for the helpful reply Rusty it is indeed a great watch that both my wife and I enjoy wearing.

PS. Sorry to all if this was an often asked question easily answered by reference to the Doxa website

I have the exact same issue on my 1200t. Wondering if I should send it to doxa or ask to buy the parts and have a local watchmaker fix it.

I own a 750T too that I purchased factory fresh in 2005. From the beginning screwing-in the crown was a little bit tricky. Seems to be a common issue.
The screwing mechanism on my 600T works much better + plus a better feeling crown which gives more grip.
    Best Regards

No sweat. A large part of our discussions revolve around topics that have answers that are easily found. Helping out and talking watches are why we are here.

    Best of luck.
