Seikologist, thanks for the feedback. I was actually looking at the 50th Anniversary Sub 300... Case size sounds about right for me, but isn't the dial really small?

I'm not at all familiar with the vintage Sub 300 other than it had an orange dial. Was there a Sharkhunter and/or Searambler version of the original, or are those modern interpretations?

Sure thing!! Doxas tend to be even better than most watches if you only compare the width. a 45mm Omega would probably look silly on me due to the longer lugs, thus more case to take up space. A doxa has shorter lugs so takes up less space on a wrist. My 1200t, at 42.7mm feels like my Seiko 007k diver which is 41ish millimeters. :)

Yes, vintage Sharkhunters and Searamblers can be found and both are included in the 50th Anniversary reissues. The differences between the vintage and reissue can bee seen here.

As far as DOXAs on small wrists go, I've sold a lot of more traditionally cases watches as "too big", including a 42mm PO, that were technically smaller than the 750 I wear daily on 6.75" wrist.

That said, I'd like to try the 50th Ann., since that seems like it would be about perfect.
