    The Treasure of Kahn

Just finished listening to this Clive Cussler audio book ( I use them to go to sleep....) and "Dirk's" Doxa is mentioned twice in the story....lots of action to include underwater action (of course...it's a Doxa!) and shoot outs with Mongolian gangsters.....very cool.....

I enjoy the fact that the Cusssler books tend to give me little nuggets of trivia about palces and things that I would not have taken the time to learn otherwise. This book taught me a bit about Mongolian history and culture. I like that sort of thing. Of course you have to separate the fiction from the facts but that is the case with most books.

Even so, as you said I did learn something of Mongolian history / culture. That might be a statement in and of itself as to how much I knew before!
