What's happened to the famous aluminum tube?

    Hi all,

I was looking up SUB models on the DOXA site because I'm having a strong urge to buy a Searambler. As I reviewed the technical specs of the watches, I noticed that "DOXA presentation box" is listed as the presentation instead of the aluminum tube. I can only hope it is temporary. Does anyone have any knowledge on this that they can share?

    Thanks folks!

Re: What's happened to the famous aluminum tube?

When my 300T reissue came with the tube, I thought at the time what a brilliant and unique touch it was for packaging. It's made the entire reissue series classic upon arrival.

There's a couple of 750T's up for sale on WUS, and both have boxes. Can't help but wonder if it makes a difference with a resale.
