This sounds like a "must have" watch. Sorry if I missed it but any idea as to when the watch will be available and price? Just would like to plan, accordingly.

No, the U1W is our watch with a PVD case, black second hand and a non-lumed face.

Our watch was on the drawingboard three months before anyone knew anything about the U1W. The main detail that really sets our design apart is the fully lumed dial with solid black hands and markers. Sinn (Herr Schmidt) liked the concept so much that they are planning to release our design as a regular model after the WUS LE is sold out. How cool is that?!

The price hasn't been hashed out as the final design isn't firmly nailed down. Based on the current want list I imagine the price would be close, if not a little less than the U1Ws.

so will the basel be the same as on the standard U1? if not i suggest that we should switch over the colors, whats red becomes black and visa versa

i wasn't thinking about the bazel beeing PVD as per the SDR but swopping over the colors of the numbers and markings on the bazel

I am constrained to vote for the 44mm because of the price factor, and to be honest, I don't feel the size justifies the significant price jump. Well, I thought the U1000 was overpriced too.

Anyway- am looking forward to the forum watch with bated breath!

The WUS forum watch sounds like it's shaping up nicely.

Avoid anything to do with that 47mm abomination they are coming out with. That thing is a mess and unworthy of a U1 designation.
