    Spirit of America Unitas

Even after all the negativity that has been posted recently I still have interest in Kobold Watches. I have a slight chance to pick up a Spirit Of America for a good price and would like to know if this would be a good piece to have as my first Kobold. The watch comes with box an all paperwork and 2 straps. (not bracelet, Leather and Zulu).

Much has been said about the price of new Kobold watches and it is what it is. I am a big Kobold watch fan and have generally picked up gently used Kobolds from the sales forum. If you can pick up a gently used one, you will get good value on a great watch.

You can't go wrong with the SOA. Great watch with a nicely decorated movement; mine kept great time too. I miss it!

The SOA, especially preowned is a really nice watch, and a good bargain. I had one and really liked the versatility.

I completely agree with Chris and others here. The SOA was a handsome, understated piece. The slate gray face and Ti finish could dress up or down. Enjoy it, nice pick up.
    Be well,

I had one of the rare black dial models. I would love to find an Arctic Blue version.
